I wonder what the point is of posting all this drivel on an opera
newsgroup? Surely there are other newsgroups where this sort of thing
is all the rage. Why no go there?

And if you prefer that to the "operatic drivel" posted here then why
not just leave? Why hang around? You never post on operatic topics
anyway. You only seem interested in perpetuating the hate that poses as
political thought around here. Have you ever wondered why you seem to
delight in that?
