MS Windows has a small application called 'character map'. All you
need do is open that small app (while in your email program) and
select the different characters your wish to use...then paste them
into your current email.  Or which application you wish in which you
wish to use those characters.

Okay...I have Windows, but I can't seem to find this "small
application."  (Duh)  I'm not very goos at this sort of thing, so
please bear with me.  How do I get to the character map?....from my
email program.

It should be in the 'accessories' sub-directory. By the way...which
version of Windows are you running? I'm currently running Windows
Vista Ultimate...which is quite different from Windows XP or earlier
versions. But that app is available in all versions of Windows.
