I love both of these films...but especially 'El Cid'. �This has been

I first saw this film in Germany when it was released to the military
forces theaters. �Simply loved it and Miklos Rozsa's incredible film

Looking forward to the 'Taras Bulba' as well...even though it has Tony
Curtis as 'Andrej'. �But Franz Waxman's score is
magnificent...especially the thrilling 'Ride to Dubno' scene. �Saw
that while I was in the Army as well.

I get most of my DVD's from Movies Unlimited. The info they have for
the new El Cid release only specifies the soundtrack as English.
Doesn't even say stereo. I am hoping for a full surround sound as the
movie was released in roadshow with 6 track mag sound.
Believe it or not, I have never seen the movie, but I bought the
soundtrack on LP and now have it on CD. It is one of my favorites
too. I emailed Movies Unlimited yesterday about this. If and when

And......I too am moved by great music, film, art, etc. If I cannot
connect in an emotional way with whatever I'm watching, listening to
or viewing, then to me its not worth it. I like nothing better than
to be moved to tears by a scene in a movie or a piece of music!
The first time I listened to Bluebeasrd's Castle and the fifth door
was opened, I got cold chills, the hair on my arms and the back of my
neck stood up and then when the scene was finally over I started to
laugh, not because what I heard was funny but because it was so
