You need to rectify this decision, immediately! The sound
is still astonishing after all these years; this is one of the
grandest of accomplishments in the entire history of recorded
music. Seriously, the Solti Ring is THAT good.

I just listened to the 178 one-minute excerpts from the
Solti Ring on amazon.com (which can be played all at
once, and stopped and resumed at any point), and the
sound is indeed just fine. No doubt these are .mp3 files,
and my computer speakers don't have great bass, but
it is still all very clear and very impressive.
