I was emptying my new (used) Getzen Capri and the Amado spit valve came

How hard is this to fix? Not that I mean to try it myself but wondering
what I might expect to pay to have it fixed.
I'll probably have to ship it somewhere because I know for a fact there are
no qualified brass repair places near me. The closest might be Nick Rail in
Santa Barbara which is about 140 miles from me. If I must ship it, I might
as well send it to the best and get it totally checked out. Any suggestions
as to where to send it? Back to Getzen? This is nearly a 30 year old trumpet
is that has any bearing.
As a side note. Now that I am starting to get my embouchure back I was
noticing the horn had a little bit of a raspy leaky sound but I couldn't
figure out why. I thought it was air leaking from my lips. Then the valve
came off.
I plugged the hole with my finger and tried playing again. The tone was
crisp and tight. It sounded like a totally different horn. And I was able
right off to hit that high C that I had not been able to get before. So
that's a good sign at least.
Thanks

Where are you located? I suspect there are some much closer.
