I was tested by 3 different cardiologists in 3 different states with the
same results. My dad was tested by a different cardiologist, my
neighbor by yet another. I have met many people who passes the stress
tests in all flavors and had heart attacks shortly after. I have yet to
meet one person who failed a stress test. I am sure they do catch a
few, but it would appear from my sample results that those tests don't
catch problems with most people, especially musicians and probably
athletes also.
Do keep in mind a heart cath is not a simple test or something to be
taken lightly, but it does appear to be the only reliable test.
