Thanks for the advice,
I'm going to try for a 40+, as they're not quite out of my price
range, and hopefully become very attached to it until I'm ready to
advance to the next level. Any advice on beginning music literature/
method books provided I don't find a proper tutor?
The book/tutor I have found most useful is:-
"Complete method theoretical-practical progressive for Accordion"
by L.O. Anzaghi, published by Ricordi.
It is a bit old fashioned but is very thorough. It takes you through
the basics and builds up to more complex. You can then move onto the
type of music you want to work with.
BTW it correct that most postings are done after the original message
but it isn't at all convenient, as the new bit is at the bottom of the
page and it can be very annoying having to scroll down. I much prefer
top posting!
Usenet etiquette is to bottom-post, not top-post.You can feel free to delete
the parts not relevant to your reply to cut down on the need for scrolling.
The deleted parts are sometimes replaced by <...> or the like, if it is
important to let people know the message was cut.
When you top-post, the reader has a problem knowing what you are talking
about sometimes.
