Bellows work for staccato bass and smooth melody

I note that my bellows, being pretty tight I think, sort of jerk a bit
when I play my basses staccato and as a result I don't like the change
in sound on the keyboard side. It's pretty obvious that it's a pressure
change due to amount of air going through few reeds. I didn't notice on
my main accordion, which had some issues in the leaky department.

Any clues?
