Yes it is on the waterway that connects the E. coast of Florida to lake
Okeechobee and then again over to Fort Myers on the west coast.
There is a marina here called the Indiantown Marina (duh☺ ) and there
are probably more then 1,000 boats here that sleep through the summer
hoping to be missed by passing hurricanes and most importantly their
storm surge. Most boats are hauled out of the water, put on stands, and
then strapped to metal eyes that are buried deep in the ground. When a
hurricane does strike the nylon strapping that goes to the eyelets
keeps the boats from being knocked off of their stands, like mine was
last year in Port Charlotte.

you are interested. Its really kind of neat because you lock up to get
here and go through some really gator-fested water on the way.
