I am considering both the Casio PX120 and Yahama P85.
Am going to take refresher lessons after a long time away from a
keyboard and don't have room for a "real" piano now. Any thoughts on
experiences with these? Or something else?
I've recently tried a Kawai CL30 on behalf of a church where a piano is used
occasionally. I was stunned by this model's tone and touch, and
unhesitatingly recommended it. I would urge you try it if it's in your price
range (in the UK it costs about 600 pounds sterling). The keys are of wood
and unusually long for a digital, providing something like an acoustic piano
feel. As regards the room it takes up, it's very slim front-to-back (11
inches, I think) but has the usual three pedals. It has a removable music
rack but no fall or other key cover.
