Spinnet - messed up action -- B-flat key - can it be fixed

Hello all: I just came into possession of a spinnet made by Summers &
Son, USA. From my non-technician view it appears in very good shape --
seems hardly played judging by the impressions on the hammers. ONly
one problem -- the B-flat key above C has a misaligned piece in the
action that causes the hammer to not come forward properly when I
strike the key. Was hoping someone out there could tell me what might
be involved in fixing this. The piece is the one that sits on the
spring on the ?rocker arm? (I don't know the technical terms) at the
bottom of the action. It gets pushed up into the bottom of the actual
hammer. But in this particular key, it's leaning slightly to the left,
like it's not sitting right. Hence when you strike the key, it
sometimes gets pushed off to the side of the hammer, and the hammer
doesn't move enough, hence no sound. But if you strike the key next to
it (A) it will push the piece back a little, so it works next time
around.
I tried poking a thin ruler in there to push it back, but that didn't
really work -- piece reverts to its cockeyed position. Looking at the
complexity of the thing, I would imagine that there is a lot of
disassembly required to fix this, no? In the first place, can it be
fixed? Secondly, should I even consider messing with it myself?
I drew a diagram of the action showing the misaligned piece. Created a
JPG file and tried a couple of times to post it as an attachment to
this message, but it never got posted. (I suspect this group is
moderated, and/or doesn't permit binary attachments.) So instead, I
posted the diagram in alt.binaries.pictures.clip-art Subject is:
"Ignore please". File: pianokey.jpg
Note -- I could not find much info at all about this manufacturer. I
*think* it's vintage 80s. It's condition is quite good -- definitely
worth making it right.
