I had a problem with a next door neighbour who let her springer spaniel bark

getting angry , I even reported them to the local council who sent them a
statutory nuisance letter. Nothing really helped. This nuisance went on for
almost three years, driving me crazy, but then I took up playing the
accordion. I played it in one of my bedrooms next to the party wall. I used
to play for about two hours every evening until about 10pm. Guess what? She
had the nerve to complain about me! But eventually she got the message, the
dog disappeared, all went quiet from her side of the wall and so I practice
my music (keyboard now and sometimes accordion) in a room away from the
party wall, but if the dog comes back or any other noise disturbance I'll be
back playing in the other room. Maybe your solution might be something like
this. Best of luck with your problem, I hope you get it sorted.

Hi George,
Thanks for relating your story. Yes, I have tried to annoy the
neighbors as well, till they learn their lesson, just to see if they
like it.
One time, I purchased this product called "good neighbor barker
breaker" and it is triggered by a dogs' barking. If a dog barks within
50 feet of it, it will start going off. It's as loud as a fire
alarm..if not louder! The neighbors were pissed off, and they ran
outside and started yelling stuff over the fence and making threats,
saying I was hurting their dogs' ears. It seems that they felt they
should be allowed to create as much of a nuisance as possible, but that
no one else has a right to bother them! They eventually had a police
officer call up the guy who lets me board here, and I got into some
trouble. The cop said it was "illegal"...what is he on? You can find
that device at some pet stores....it's a bark training device.
Undettered, I have also driven my car by their fence line, and turned
up my radio full blast...just to see how they like it. I hate rap,
but I find that station and turn it up full blast like I'm just loving
it, because I know you can't get more annoying than rap...LOL! I
haven't done that lately, but maybe I'm going to start doing it again.
