Are you sure you are supposed to just pick up your hand and move it?
There isn't some sort of line you play, perhaps involving a thumb
cross-under, that gets you there? If not, then, really, this should not
be a difficult skill, and you should not be doing things in your
practice to *make* it unnecessarily difficult. That means I agree with
those saying it's OK to look.
