On the surface it seems all benine. Someday when you take your head out
of
your ass you might agree with me.
These people live a dangerous liftyle and need help. We all need help
some
times. Before that can happen
someone has to realize their is a problem.

Your argument is weak and deifies logic. If people don't choose to
ride
on
bare back mountain
then they don't choose pedophilia either. See my logic? You can't
pick
and
choose
to say what people are born with or not. If gay's are born that way
then
all
of us born a certain way, right?
I must have a bigotry gene. I am sure science will prove that one day.
When
they do, will you forgive me for my turrets outburst, or is this just
a selective thing of yours? We are all born predisposed to certain
patterns both genetic and environmental.
That said we do have a choice over many things we do with our body. We
don't
have a choice of our skin color.
Now that I have clarified this for you do you see how stupid your
logic
is?
It's double digit IQ logic for lack of a better term. ;o)
Controlling sexual urges is no different then controlling the urge to
smoke
or drink.

About Christians. There are a great deal of them I have profound
respect
for and there are those
who are anything but a christian. I never claimed to belong to faith
becuase I don't. When I need
Help I have a direct line to the man upstairs. I have no use for
organized
religion.

Tom,
Don't you claim to be a Christian? Isn't one of THE biggest things
about
being a
Christian tolerance???? I am serious now. Look it up where ever you
want
to, but
it has been proven to be about 99% that sexual preference is genetic,
so
it is
no different that if someone is born black, white, tall, short, big
***,
small
*** etc. I know that many religions don't like science because it
does
not back
their view of things, but I guarantee that if you knew enough gay
people
personally, you would know that they did not "chose" to be gay. Think
about it
just from a common sense point of view. Who would willingly chose to
be
something that would bring bigotry and hatred upon themselves by so
many
in the
population? When you or I look at a gorgeous woman and think the
things
that
straight men do, a gay man does the same thing when he sees a good
looking
man.
I just don't understand why so many people are concerned about what
consenting
adults do in their private lives sexually. Remember too that the VAST
majority
of pedophiles are heterosexual.

I also often deify logic. Logic is, obviously, God. ;)

As for your comment on pedophilia, that's rather disgusting and
ridiculous. Yes, pedophilia may very well be a genetic disposition
people can't do anything about. However, having a love for children an
sich doesn't hurt anyone, it's only when people act on that impulse
that
problems start.

The difference with gayness is that gayness doesn't hurt anyone. It's
just a mutually consensual relationship that just doesn't happen to be
between a woman and a man. I don't see any problem with that. Why do
you?
Your argument that it's a choice because people have 'switched' is
silly
as well. Bi-sexuality also exists, for instance. And many gays have
admitted to being 'pressured' into heterosexual relationships because
of
society's outlook on homosexuality.
And then there are obviously the people who stay in the closet for a
long time but eventually decide to come out. People who were somewhat
content at having a relationship, for instance, but still eventually
came out because they were gay and felt they were living a lie. Why
would that be a choice?

They live a dangerous life how, exactly? What the hell is dangerous
about having a relationship with another man instead of another woman?
Oh, right, I know, AIDS is a gay disease!
If you really think that, I'm certainly not the one with the head up my
ass here.
Here, let me try to explain this to you: HIV is a sexually transmitted
virus, which means that *any* unprotected sex with an infected partner
will spread the disease. Unprotected anal sex carries a greater risk
because of the greater possibility of ruptured blood vessels.
Now, a lot of gays do have unprotected anal sex. However, this does not
make their being gay a dangerous lifestyle, it makes their choice to
have unprotected anal sex a dangerous lifestyle. There are also many
gays who are a lot wiser about this and do use condoms or have their
partners tested before any activity.

I also know a lot of heterosexuals who only have unprotected sex, even
on one night-stands. So is heterosexuality now also a dangerous lifestyle?

Are you familiar with the principle of straw men? Because that's one hell of an example right there.
You ignored every point I made and completely shifted the subject.

Aside from that, AIDS is a political disease because people like you make it a political disease. It was made a political disease when 'just don't have sex' was (and still is) the conservative reaction to STDs for both their own country and the poor countries (where, interestingly, most AIDS-sufferers are heterosexual).
I'd also like to see some numbers on 'AIDS protesters'. I'm also wondering how anyone can actually be in favor of AIDS, which is what you imply when you scold gays for protesting AIDS.
