I've recovered dozens of them. I am of the glue method school. There are two
possible problems with the tape method; buzzing and bubbling.

I'd like to recover mine but man, it looks like it'd be a major PITFA.
Anyone ever attempt recovering a PDP kit? From the looks of it the whole
wrap is glued to the shell. I did my old Tama Imperialstars that were
glued all around the shell and it was hellacious. Anyone?
