Re: Broke my first Ahead stick...wow!

Where did it break? I know in my old ones I always thought it would break
just around the handle... I couldn't picture them breaking down the shaft
like a regular stick.

How did it feel when it broke? Just all of a sudden or could you feel it get
weaker like a wood stick?

It finally happened and still I find it hard to believe. Last night's
audience saw half of my Ahead stick flying up and inbedding itself into
the
ceiling. Wish I got a pix of it! I'm a solid player but don't think I hit
that hard... the sticks has been in use for over a year now so I got my
money's worth from it. Glad I didn't hurt anyone. One thing... you don't
notice how bad the metal shaft is damaged until it breaks. With a wood
stick
you get all the little splinters and pieces hanging or flying off. I miss
that. :-)
