providing an exponentially increasing mass

Exponential or linear?

Isn't gravity exponential? Should I have used another term?

Gravity is fixed based on the mass of the earth. When something falls it
speeds up but reaches a max rate, "terminal velocity", about 120mph. On
other planets objects fall at different rates depending on the mass.
