SuperDrummer, before pontificating facts and calling others to pay
close attention, it's a good idea to do your homework:

RMMP is a USENET newsgroup. It's been around since before the
web existed. It's been around before google was invented.
Google doesn't own usenet. It's merely a very complete
archive of Usenet posts as well as a rather popular interface
for posting to usenet. Their interface also makes the line
blurred between truly google groups, and usenet groups.

That means these terms of use only apply to those posting to usenet
via google groups and to those google users who've accepted those
terms of use. Educate yourself further:

While I'm all for folks playing nice, but you're asking for a
shitstorm aimed back at yourself. Which, ironically squares you up
pretty well for this label, I'm afraid:
