My first thought: Hot, FUN band! Congratulations, Dan. I much prefer your
new gig to Mixed Nuts, which (sorry) always sounded like everyone was
phoning it in. Too stiff, controlled and loungy for my tastes.

Yeah, this recording is rough, there are mistakes...but this ain't no Steely
Dan deal. You guys have ENERGY and it sounds like you're enjoying
yourselves.

Drumwise, for this band, go back to a 22" kick. I'd comment on the sound,
but that's secondary and I know with the proper micing and subs you can get
a 20" to come through. But dude, you showed up to Hell's Angel party with a
20" kick...eewwwww. The only thing worse would be pulling up to the party on
a Vespa: "Hey Guys! Ready to party down?!"

You're the new engine in this machine....bring one of your diesels to the
party!
