Not sure if you're saying I'm a little defensive but if you are, no not
really. IMHO, music is music no matter what venue or level, regardless if
it's playing for a cover band in a toilet or for a major act. That's always
been my attitude. I put all my best effort into each gig I do. Sorry, that's
me. I'm lucky enough to be able to get whatever kit I want and I'll lug my
best kit to any gig. Self edification? Yeah, whatever. My attitude? I could
be hit by a bus tomorrow on my bike. Then, my kits really wouldn't get
abused.
And you're right on the other hand. I am getting a little defensive ;-)
