Here's a wierd suggestion: mic it with the bass drum mic of your choice and
run that to this:

The JBL Eon 15" powered speaker. You can use it as a reinforcement tool for
just your bass drum and it'll take the mic input directly.
I haven't tried it yet because I keep telling myself it's my wimpy right
foot that's the problem. My bass drum SOUNDS fine in most places, just not
loud enough. I may punt and get one of these.
