A friend of mine, a military retiree (air force), managed to get a job with
them, but only as a janitor! And he had to use legal tactics for that.
They didn't want to hire him for some reason :).
IMO they are generally over paid and under productive. If I were able I'd
reduce their pay scale and hire more people to do the job. Other than they
have to work fast, it's not difficult work. They are too protected from the
real world.
