My single act has been going strong for 6 years, but is suffereing
from the current economy and trends in the casinos. I was the house
drummer for a local casino for 2 or 3 years playing one week every
month. Easy gig....
Worked in a show group on the road for 2 years playing as much as
5 nights a week. Band break-ups, band members dying or change in the
economy has always been a factor. Marriage, divorce and rasiing kids
has been another. Mariage has taken me off the road and divorce has
put me back on .
I'm looking at putting my own group together for casinos, fairs,
festivals and corporate work. I hope this can work for many years or
as long as I can hold the reins. Sad thing is that I will have to
climb from behind the kit to front the band as singer and guitarist. I
really enjoy my time behind the kit and this always happens.
