I use spy sweeper (it's a you buy it program about $35 IIRC).
The thing just drives you nuts asking to update itself. But it
works very well... if slow.

I also use Mozilla as a browser. Explorer being popular takes the
brunt of most attacks. I've had a couple of Mozilla attacks but really
next to nothing to speak of.

What I want to know is just who was the idiot that allowed the internet

to come in and install and run crap on MY machine? I mean it's one
thing
if people can mess up your screen, it's quite another to let them into
your hard drive! Then the icing on the cake is everyone uses software
to try to get so called "firewall" protection! SOFTWARE! Jeeze. How
about putting out engraved invitations to hackers! Man if you can't
throw a toggle switch to keep people out, it AIN'T protected. At least
make the CIA break into your house if they want to stomp around your
files!
