I have one, and swapped in some gold-plated die cast rims - really
looks lovely.

It is versatile, giving you good tone tuned high, low & in between. I
think in between is where it shines - if you want low you should go for
an 8" depth, and for high there are many other options. My own
experience is that when tuned low or medium low, it *does* require some
sort of muffling. I love ring up high, but I'm on the side of the
producers when it's tuned lower.

I recall a few stories of stripped lugs, but so far I've had no such
problems.
