You're right about people going TO Hattiesburg. That's where my
brother-in-law, his in-laws and two elderly friends split to. We didn't
hear from them for a week after the storm. They've got a house in midtown
N.O. and just recently discovered that the house suffered almost no damage,
not even water in the house. VERY lucky people.

Glad to hear you guys made it through and your double-dog-dead right about
preparing for all hurricanes like they're the last day on earth. Hopefully
there's many more that have absorbed that lesson.
