Again... Keys and modes (Medieval modes or contemporary modes), while
both being tonal centres are *different* types of tonal centres.
If you and Phil want to freely use the word "key" like you do then go
ahead. But I don't have to.
Any pitch-class collection can be used to extract scales,
chord-voicings, arpeggios or melodies, but that doesn't make it a "key"..

being considered "minor key" answered my question -- wether the notes
are from melodic minor, harmonic minor or natural minor, um... "pitch/
tone sets", or any combination of the three, its just considered to be
