Ahem, removal? Sounds a bit, you-know-what-like .... meaning?
The feds arrested Geronimo's entire sub-tribe because he and his gang
refused to stop robbing and killing. The entire group was rounded up
and sent to live in Florida and other southern states. They weren't
allowed to return to the southwest for several decades. It was very
unfair treatment, given that the majority of them were not
participating in the killing and stealing. Geronimo was not a popular
figure among his own people because of all the trouble he caused.
