Go back and read what I said about DESIGN. GOOD design is NOT filling up
every square, that's pretty awful and ametuerish (just like a musician who
doesn't use rests in their solos, comping, etc.) The BASIC INFORMATION is
the main thing. A short tag-line isn't a bad idea (if it gives people a
better idea of what you do). All of this can be done in a way that is both
artful and memorable. It's quite a challenge to create something that works
and is easy on the eye in a 2"x3.5" format, but it CAN be done.

The last time I was in Tokyo I sat in with a trio with a vocalist. We
exchanged cards later and I was pretty surprised--ALL of them had pictures
of themselves on their cards. I was put off, in a design sense, by a
couple of them, which used every square for jabber, citing teachers and
big gigs and all manner of noise. But they all had pictures.
