I've found the Jazz Guitar Standards Vol 1 and 2 to be very helpful
learning tunes.

The series takes a song and offers 1) a lead ***/fake chart, 2)
Chord Solo arrangement, 3) comping example, and 4) solo example.
The chord solo arrangements are fairly simple but you've got to master
'simple' before you can move on.
I had "East of the Sun' chord solo down before half time of the
Davidson/Kansas game...
