Using CoolEdit, or Audacity (free), you can use your PC to make multi-
track recordings, one track at at time. Is the A/D sampler on a
typical PC good enough for the job? Can you get good voice
recordings using the mic input?

Note: I've tried it and so far my results haven't been spectacular.
