Re: Orange Cube 60 owners - need a small favor

Thanks Peter. So the speaker doesn't rely on a sealed cabinet for it's sound characteristics.

I've heard that this thing is a one trick pony but I don't mind. I didn't pay much for it at all and it may have the sound I've been looking for.

In the past I have had two of the old orange Cube 60s, put an EV force
in the first one. The hole for the cord is not sealed; you could just
remove the back if you wanted to, but it keeps the cord from falling out
rather well.. as previously discussed here, this circut is kind of a one
trick pony, but works well enough for most casual gigs (A friend used to
drive a 4-12 cabinet with his). Don`t expect much from the reverb
though, the spring is only about three inches long.

Just picked up a Cube-20 at LA Santa Monica Guitar show the weekend
before last, the cabinet was kinda trashed but it was only $35.
