This is the really bleak part for me. Everything at Ortlieb's always
had such a soulfulness to it (no articulate way to put it), and
without the music it is a lose-lose situation. The scene loses, and it
just becomes another restaurant in a part of town packed with
restaurants.

There are always other places around that are kind of "under the
radar" and off the beaten path, and more and more those are the places
to go to, as the established venues go either corporate to the point
of not even being enjoyable or otherwise belly-up.
