Hey you all...I am thinking about adding the Roland GK3 to my Heritage
H140 (Les Paul style) solid body for use with transcriptions using
Finale. Is anyone familiar enought with it to tell me whether to go
ahead and buy one?

THANKS

Vince

Vince, I have a GK3 on my $99 Squier that I use with a Roland GR20
synth and while I can't say anything about Finale, I can answer
questions about the GK3. I can't, however, tell you if that is the
best solution as there are other choices in 13 pin technology for
pickups. Here's a page with a few choices, but the only other one I
know of is RMC... http://home.epix.net/~joelc/rmc.html

I had a GK3 on a Les Paul. I found it hard to set it up so that the pick ups were properly situated under each string. It was just "ok." Tracking the low E was iffy.
Now I'm buying lottery tickets so I can get myself a Godin Roland-ready guitar.
