Yes! I was in the audience for a Stanley Clarke concert way back when and
he was the guitarist. Awesome energy. Just when I thought a section
hit its peak, they would take it another notch higher. This was right
around Clarke's "Modern Man" release. I'll never forgot the guy next to
me, a trombone player of all things, saying to me "Holy ***, these guys
must be stoned out of their minds to play this stuff all night!"
