* Only use italics for special emphasis - ie a few words only. It's
more difficult to read, especially online.
* The 'readable' length of any line depends on the font size. The
smaller the font size, the less words you can use before readers lose
the plot, and need to 'ping-pong' back and forth visually.
(Your bottom line suffers from this, for example).
* As noted, keep it clean, simple, and consistent.
