I posted recently on how bright and jangly my 335 is after the pup swap
to a real Gibson '57 Classic in the bridge and a Burstbucker-I in the
neck. It's a very lively sounding guitar now and whiel the edginess of
it took me aback after I first got it back, I've warmed up to it now.
Anyway, here is my solo to "All Of Me" played with the 335, no effects,
neck pup, tone wide open (166K):

Same solo played with my 175, no effects, neck pup, tone wide open

The 335 definitely comes off with an edge. It's not as noticeable in
these MP3's, since I recorded from an effects send to my digital
recorder and then squashed the file to get the size down to 166K. When
played thorugh an amp and speakers, it's obvious which is the more
jangly of the two guitars.
