you had to PAY? receiving stolen goods is not the kind of thing businesses
usually like ANY sniff of.
If you filed a police report when the guitar was stolen, I sure would look
into getting your money back.
They may not HAVE to, but...........

I just got lucky. I found it on the wall for sale at Guitars`R`Us in
Hollywood; didn`t recognise it at first even, but eventually opened up
the control cavity and found my initals on the back of the coverplate. I
had to pay to get it back of course, but it was worth every penny.
