Believe it or not - Yes!

Although, I sheepishly admit that Dan Adler was right. For MOST of my
playing, I'm back to rotating the pick in the other direction. It's
simply more accurate for me (because I've been doing it for 20 years).
However, the benson technique is definitely great also. There are
certain swing grooves which sound MUCH better with the
counter-clockwise angle and certain alternate picking things are easier
too...
