I run XP Pro at home (2 PCs) and office (12 PCs), and on my laptop.
Had one PC w/ ME on it in the past, didn't like it as well as 98v2.
You will be much happier with XP Pro. I am finding many new
applications won't run unless you have a version of XP. $185 is pretty
fair. I would check online computer supply co's (there seem to be a
million of them) for price comparison. Good luck.
