I have a Carvin AG-100. I also use it for archtop as well as my Taylor.
Sounds great, IMO. Very clear and natural-sounding, esp. in comparison
to several others I tried out that you mentioned. Plus, it's only $399
"direct"; the relatively low price is misleading in my opinion since
there's very high quality and a ton of features going on here.
Here's a paste from their website (with a few comments of mine added in
parentheses):
AG100D - 100W Acoustic Guitar Amp with Digital Effects
3 Channel acoustic guitar, bass & PA amp. (That's three sets of
different controls per use, inc. notch filter on the acoustic channel.
Channel three has an XLR input.)
High powered 100 watt RMS output.
Fabulous sound from heavy-duty PS12 woofer and horn tweeter. (There's a
separate volume pot on the back for the tweeter.)
Tuned-ported enclosure for enhanced deep bass for bass guitar.
Dual 24-bit digital effects - each of the 3 CH's can be assigned to
Effects 1 or 2. You can now have chorus for guitar and reverb for
vocal - two effects at the same time! The dual-engine effect offers
reverbs, chorus, echoes, delays and flanging for up to 256 selections
each (That's one FX per channel, however. Good quality FX but rotary
controls so a bit fidgety to duplicate settings, IMO)
All effects are in STEREO when using line-out to mixer or other stereo
powered speakers.
Each of the 3 channels has its own volume, tone controls/switches,
effects 1 or 2 send.
Master section has a master level, 5 band EQ and dual engine effects
levels with parameter controls.
Only 35 lbs! We use an aluminum chassis, Popular plywood
construction-not particleboard-and a more expensive 100 to 240 VAC
auto switching power supply eliminating the weight.
Covered in hunter Forest Green. Built-in speaker stand-mount. (Matching
extension speaker available)
Rear stereo line out/headphone jack, effects loop -send/return jacks,
2 speaker jacks and footswitch jack for optional FS22 to turn on/off
effects.
As I said, I really like mine. (Also, two friends have also bought one
after trying mine out.)
As they mention above, the effects are sent out to PA thru the DI on
the back in stereo. Note that I tried a few other brands before I got
this Carvin that would not . (I don't understand the purpose of no FX
send except that you're trusting the sound guy for everything. That
feature esp. impressed me.)
Actually, here's the address with clear photo:

Good luck in the search.
