My wife's Acer laptop. Ran the Microsoft update like we always do.
Pretty sure it said Vista SP1. Now Windows won't start. Start-up
Repair won't work. Safe Mode won't work. No Restore Point was set.
Nothing's backed up. Its out of warranty. <sigh> Instant karma, I
know I know .... believe me, I know.
So my question is: Take it the Geek Squad at Best Buy or try the $60
per half hour 'pay for service' phone call to Acer?
