Well, here it is: March. Wanna talk about the old lion/lamb thing?
We're supposed to get somewhere between 12 and 20 inches of snow in
the next 24 hours, depending on "several factors". Things will begin
with "ice pellets".... I don't think I've ever heard of them!! Sleet,
rain, snow, wind gusts up to 30....
April may be the cruelist month, but March is no bundle of joy,
either.
I have two guitars out, strung up with Nanowebs and EXPs.... Two good
bottle od scotch and a bunch of wine.... My bookshelf has piles of
books in the "to be read" pile....
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
Norman (And Kate's Cooking Dinner!!) DraperMan I'm ready for some warm weather. I've been daydreaming about how
to lay out the garden for several weeks now. I'm gettin' the itch to
tear up some soil and get some seed in the ground.
Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Potatoes, Green Beans, Bell Peppers, Zucchini,
Acorn Squash, Cabbage, Lettuce ... YUM!!

Me too. Daffodils & crocuses out - time for cultivation!

I love when the Daffodils start coming up and the Robins show up.
Spring and warmer weather ain't far behind.
David
Odd...our robin never goes away.
Pete
Around here, the robins get the hell out of here for the winter. The
bluebirds used to leave too, but for several years some would stay all
winter but I haven't seen any this winter. For few years, some of the
sand hill cranes would hang around until almost February but they left
earlier this winter.
