LOL, exactly the scenario I was thinking except that I have to put my

Ridiculous ain't it? Who in the world would go to one of those sites
and buy a watch, yet Google allows a group to be swamped with that
crap.
That's what I don't get. Some fools must be buying their stuff or they
wouldn't be wasting their time.

They're not. They're collecting Email addresses and IP numbers which
they sell on to direct marketing organisations, who then waste their
time spamming you personally in your inbox.
