I've never met the man, but is BobN as much of a knee-jerk

Remainder of the rant dutifully deracinated...

Why worry solely about BobN, whose views have apparently unhinged so many
here? I could call out by name any number of folks, who appear to belong to
a hard-core gang of rabid political extremists, currently spewing incendiary
diatribes at RMMGA. The group most obviously has been hijacked by several
folks who possess little self-discipline, ranting and raving and gushing
forth all manner of vile vitriol. Repeatedly egregious off-topic postings
have apparently become the accepted norm around here anymore (indeed, for a
while, this group should have been renamed
alt.politics.all.sarah.palin.all.the.time)--so much so that, I'm tempted,
when I next open up a new message to the group--one that is one-hundred
percent guitar-related, to fill in the Subject Line with something akin to
this: "OT--Pure Guitar Content."

"...hard-core gang of rabid political extremists, currently spewing

:-)
Does this qualify as a rant?
Does *any* discussion of politics put one in the category of "hard-
core rabid political extremist"?
"Ranting and raving and gushing", oh my.
As one who qualifies as a member of the "gang" I guess, I hope you
feel better getting that off your chest. I mean it.
