This has been a bad year. So far I've been through chemo & radiation
for cancer. Now I'm down in Florida trying to deal with very old (94 &
96) parents. My father won't eat and is very weak & in a rehab place,
my mother needs a lot of help daily.

I've got to go home for a week for my own sanity, plus pay bills, get
more medication, see the cats - just experience real life for awhile.
And because the cancer really ate into my sick leave and vacation
time.

I've arranged for meals for my mother & an aide, and hope that my
father can hold on till I've had a chance to rest. I think he's given
up (stopped eating), and I don't blame him. If I was 94, almost blind,
almost deaf, had badly arthritic hands and no teeth, I'd give up too.

So whatever you've got to send out, please send it our way.
