I respect your views, Mike. What I don't understand is what her
negatives are (esp. compared to any other pol) and how they outweigh her
positives.

Her negatives are well documented in the press...you either find them to
be an issue, or not. I find Hillary's moral center to be entirely
situational, so it's a perfect match with her regard for the truth.

I grow weary of comments like Tom's, which assume that those that oppose
her candidacy are mysogynistic by definition. I'd love to see a woman
president...just not her.

Regards,

Mike

Cool (or understood, or whatever "that" word is these days.)

This is one of those conversations that does *not* lend itself to this
medium. Face to face, it could be interesting. I'm not so sure but I
thought Tom (Risner) was talking tongue in cheek. It's a shame we (kind
of automatically) need to defend our positions in terms of gender or race.
It still blows me away when I hear radio shows where people call in and
talk about how a given physical characteristic disqualifies a cantidate.
Hmmm... that's probably as far as I should take it. Again, face to face
this could be an interesting conversation.

Ed

Dang straight, Ed, anyone that's been around here for more than a few days
should know my tongue is permanently attached to the inside of my cheek (the
one in my mouth of course). I've heard all the reasons for people not to
like Hillary or Bill. I don't assume that someone is sexist for not liking
Hillary but I don't discard it either. As for what is said by the mass
media, I take that with a grain of salt. The Clintons could play the media
pretty well and I commend them for that. At least, their politics didn't
get us into an endless war propagated on lies.

Just my opinion and worth every penny ye paid for it,
