Chris is not in good shape, but that's not really why I'm making
this post. I spoke to Fi earlier and thought I'd just go and do
some woodshedding (and I literally do play in the shed because
the hooch is in there and the family can't stand my singing, which is
boorish/morose at the best of times) the TV just wasn't going to
do it for me tonight.
So, I'm sitting there playing the guitar and trying to practice
hammer ons and pulloffs whilst at the same time taking a swig of cider
(note to Sherm, this looks great onstage, but only if you're
playing a Les Paul and drinking Jack Daniels).
Some slippage involved here but the result was that my pick
(which was being held between my index and 2n'd finger) somehow slipped into
the soundhole.
I've tried rakin' it, I've tried shakin' it, but that damn pick
won't come out...
Somebody, somewhere, has a post about how to get the pick out of
a guitar. Please post it - I need a laugh.

Pete,
When my father would say someone was "not in good shape", it was
pretty serious.
Please post a bit more information when you can....
Many thanks.....
