You should know by now that here in England the buses are always red.
They never have doors. They have a large opening with a platform at
the back left corner so that men in bowler hats, carrying umbrella and
briefcase, can chase them along the road and jump on. The cheery bus
conductor always greets them, "'Ello, me ole ***-sparrer, plentya
room up the old apples and pears!" in his best *** Van Dyke voice.
Occasionally clean-cut young men will sing "We're all going on a
Summer Holiday"...
That's how it is according to Hollywood, anyway.
In real life it's pretty much like Pete said.
