What do you mean . . . the negative impact of overexposure? Yes,
that’s possible. I’m sure Andy McKee’s cd sales have increased as a
result of his youtube success to include cover versions of his tunes
that made others seek out his material.

In regard to my example the word “theft” is not appropriate imo;
therefore I’m not trivializing it. I understand from your vantage
point you see it differently.

As it relates to guitar . . . I’m a hobbyist. I play original music
(with exception to “The Water is Wide” rmmga project).
